A Black Female Medical Student

Hi! As you can probably tell by the title of the blog, I am a black female medical student. This blog is a place for me to chronicle matriculation through medical school as a minority student. I graduated from a small HBCU (Historically Black College or University) in the South, and am currently a first year medical student at a Top 20 institution WAY up north. Its definitely been a huge adjustment for me, but I can also say that its definitely been fun, and an awesome learning experience so far. Anyways, thanks for visiting, and enjoy reading. Smooches!
